Rosemary Medlock heart has always been centered on helping others and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those around her. She believes that kindness, compassion, and simply being willing to help can have an impact far greater than we may ever realize. For Rosemary, if something she does can make life a little better for even one person, then the work is worthwhile.
As Founder and Executive Director of Humanity, Rosemary is committed to bringing people together, creating opportunities, and finding ways to meet the needs of the community. She leads with compassion and a genuine love for people, believing that everyone deserves to know that they are seen, valued, and that when they need a helping hand, someone is there who cares.
Grant Poe
President
Grant is a retired United States Marine who continues his commitment to service by giving his time to the community. He is always willing to lend a helping hand, whether unloading boxes, moving heavy items, assisting with pickups, or stepping in wherever extra strength is needed. As President of Humanity, Grant brings leadership, dependability, and a strong spirit of service to our organization. His willingness to work hard and serve others makes him a valuable part of Humanity and the community we serve.
James Garrett
Treasurer
James plays an important role in the work and mission of Humanity. He has a genuine heart for giving, serving, and helping others. James is always willing to step in wherever he is needed, from assisting with our programs and operating machinery and equipment to helping with transportation and providing rides to members of our community who need assistance getting where they need to go. His dependable nature, willingness to serve, and big heart for others is a true reflection of the heart and mission of Humanity.
Ada Jean Medlock
Secretary
Ada serves as the Secretary of Humanity and plays an important role in helping things run smoothly each day. She assists with answering phone calls, communicating with members of the community, and supporting our Learning Center. Ada is always willing to help wherever she is needed, and her dedication and caring spirit help create a welcoming environment for everyone we serve.
Elizabeth Poe
Director
Elizabeth Poe serves as a Director of Humanity and is a dedicated volunteer who plays an important role in our food distribution program. As our Head of Volunteers, she helps lead, organize, and support our volunteer team while always being willing to lend a helping hand wherever she is needed. Elizabeth has a heart filled with compassion and kindness, and her genuine love for helping others makes her a valued part of the Humanity family.
